“Rain Flows to the River”Rangitikei River

This is a really personal piece that I have tried to create the vast feeling of the size of the papa cliffs and the turquoise river of the Rangitikei. 

This view is like an old friend that I enjoy coming back to. This piece has been a study of how the light hits different parts of the river. The gold has brought this place to life waiting for the storm to burst for the rain to fall.
